Before Gianni Versace came out with his Blue Jeans Fragrance, Shulton launched theirs in 1971.
It was available in cologne spray, cologne splash, soap on a rope, talcum powder and body powder.
Blue Jeans has been discontinued since the early 1980s.
Fragrance Composition:
So what did it smell like? It was a fragrance filled with the light, soft scents of fresh picked field flowers and spices. A musky-oriental-floral blend. The aroma combines sentimentality and ecology — some lemon/ orange/citrus notes, some leafy, evergreen overtones, muguet and geranium for floral touches — Blue Jeans is meant to be a mood. Blue Jeans was a fresh, sporty fragrance "for the young at heart."
- Top notes: aldehydes, bergamot, lemon, orange, basil, mint, thyme
- Middle notes: lily of the valley, geranium, rose, jasmine, cinnamon, cardamom, iris
- Base notes: pine, cypress, musk, amber, evergreen leaves, patchouli, green notes, Yugoslavian oakmoss, Mysore sandalwood
It was available in cologne spray, cologne splash, soap on a rope, talcum powder and body powder.
Fate of the Fragrance:
